ESEC designed this area to instill defensive driving techniques for the emergency vehicle operator and teach the safe navigation of highways and side streets when time becomes critical. Defensive Driving serves as the foundation with added emphasis on accident cause, collision avoidance, attitudes, driver selection and reaction. Students can negotiate our practical driving course for expert assessment of their skills and training needs. The course can accommodate the pumper, ambulance, and rescue truck — any type of vehicle the operator would normally use in a response.
